Jack About Town

Mondays in town Munson has a Breastfeeding Support Group where mothers can go interact with each other and get tips if they find they have been having trouble feeding or stuff like that. A classmate of mine hipped me to this meeting and Debbie went a few weeks ago and got back in there today.
She was accompanied by her friend Wendy. Wendy and her husband Todd welcomed their daughter Sienna on Debbie's birthday last month, nine days after Jack was born.
She brought the camera along and snapped some cute pics.
One of the things that they do at the meeting is weigh the babies that are there, to make sure that they are properly ganing weight. At the first meeting Debbie went to Jack tipped the scales at 11 lbs, with a couple ounces in there too.
That was three weeks ago. This week? 13 lbs.
My son is gonna turn into Shaq!

Ok. They are holding hands. Everyone all together now....Awwwwwwww

Also today we got a call from another friend in the area, another pregnant friend. They had their second child on Friday. These friends invited us to a get together at their house last summer before we were married. It was nice to see them, nice to meet some other people in town and nice to sample more local wines, but we were the only childless couple at this lil' party. Funny how time moves eh? That was probably almost a year ago. Now here we sit with a giant baby who is currently asleep in his crib. He's been with us five weeks yesterday, that in an of itself is hard to believe. He has his own social security card (nice way to gain him entry into the wonderful world of antiques) and his birth made it into the Record Eagle yesterday.
