The reindeers' names are Dancer and Prancer.


The story about the gas station: in 2002, when Mike and I had been going out for less than a year, we came up to Suttons Bay for a weekend. There was a blizzard, and it continued to snow heavily pretty much the whole time.

On the way back down from Sutton's Bay and the B&B we stayed at the weather was clear and very cold. We pulled into the station to fill up the rust bucket Explorer and Debbie, in the spirit of helpfulness, went to wipe the windows with that wiping fluid stuff. It froze.
This was the first time that I ever said the phrase, "Michigan Education"
