Lansing: The Curious Case of the Fake Hippo

My folks have this strange, little hippo sitting near their fireplace. I assume it was purchased as it is vaguely reminiscent of one of my folks' first dogs. When we were down state a few weeks back Dad was showing the thing to Jack. This time Jack went over to it and picked it up. The first time he did so things went well.
This is the second time.





We are unsure about just what happened with the Hippo. Jack either lifted it into his face or dropped it on his foot, but whatever happened he was very upset.
