Here is a cute story from day care: Since day one, Jack has been best friends with another baby named Camille. She is three months older than him, and just turned one last Sunday. Her mother told Mike yesterday that Camille is saying her first word now: "Jack". Not "mommy" or "daddy", but "Jack". I thought that was darling!

It was actually the daycare caretaker who relayed that story to me.
I have no reason to doubt them.
