Our plan for today was to just hop in the car and drive, pick a direction and see where the road led us. These are the pics of our Saturday travels.

We drove northeast, up the Leelanau Peninsula. I found a route that took us up the south leg of Lake Leelanau and into the town named after the lake. Instead of taking a left we took a right as Jack had been cooped up most of the day and we wanted to let him stretch his legs. A few miles later we were in Suttons Bay, stopping near the little beach cove where I think there used to be a big old wooden ship that kids could play on. This ship, real or imagined, is gone, a modern jungle gym in its place. We didn't play there as a very large group of families had converged there like birds, some sort of get together.

We attempted to change Jack's shirt. Well. Debbie attempted to change his shirt.
Kinda looks like Brando in the Island of Dr.Moreau. Sorta. I think it is the hat.

We got Jack into the car and headed into Northport, to surprise my Aunt Susie, who was not home! By this time Jack was asleep and we just thought we'd call it a day and head home.
